Prof Tabernero outlines what the ‘Therapeutic strategies’ work package of the EurocanPlatform project has achieved over the last 5 years now that the project is coming to an end. This work package is key to the whole project in that it aims to achieve proof of concept.
EurocanPlatform is an EC funded project bringing together 28 European cancer Institutions and organisations to work together in a unique collaboration. The centres are sharing infrastructures and collaborating on projects to help advance cancer research and treatment.
He looks at the main achievements of this work, the challenges encountered and what the overarching clinical impacts and benefits are going to be.
