Minimally invasive surgery was gradually introduced in liver surgery since 1992. It was initially performed for benign and cystic lesions and then for malignant disease. This video presentation illustrates the state of the art of minimally invasive surgery for liver malignancy by reviewing both laparoscopic and robotic experiences of the literature.
