David Hamilton speaks to ecancer.tv about his experiences taking part in clinical trials and explains why this is a valuable way that cancer patients can contribute the development of cancer care. Following treatment for throat cancer, Lt. Col. Hamilton entered a trial assessing the use of acupuncture to restore the function of saliva glands and has also been involved in various cancer charities, patient liaison groups and committees.
