Dr Yves Menu talks to ecancer about the RECIST system for evaluating the effectiveness of treatments at the 2012 ESMO meeting in Vienna.

RECIST measures tumours morphologically and makes a follow up after treatment to determine efficacy. This is an international standard in treatment as it provides simple indicators that are universally understood.
