At a press conference during the ASCO 2012 Annual Meeting in Chicago, June 1st - June 4th, Dr Joseph Unger presented data from a national survey of cancer patients showing that income strongly predicts the likelihood a patient will participate in a clinical trial, which raises concern that lower-income patients don’t have equal access to clinical trials.
