Dr Gad Murenzi presents his talk on Choosing Wisely in implementing prevention, screening and early detection programs in Africa.

He begins by expressing that suboptimal compliance to consensus-based national guidelines is not uncommon in African countries which could lead to avoidable waste of resources.

Dr Murenzi continues by exploring the prevention and early detection of cervical, breast, colorectal and prostate cancer.

He concludes by discussing the laboratory and research challenges in LMICs.
