Dr Eric Krakauer speaks to ecancer about his talk at Choosing Wisely Senegal 2022 on creating a palliative care package with the World Health Organization that should be integrated into care of patients with cancer.
He explains that patients from low-middle income countries do not have equal access to cancer prevention diagnosing treatment or palliative care.
Dr Krakauer also highlights how limited funding in low-middle countries should prioritise responding to the specific needs of each country which best optimise cancer care.
