ecancer and Succinct Medical Communications announce strategic events partnership

ecancer, the leading oncology channel, has today announced a strategic partnership with Succinct Medical Communications to create educational events for the cancer community. ecancer.org is a not-for-profit oncology channel with a global audience, hosting thousands of expert videos, journal articles and educational modules.

Succinct, an EU-based global medical communications agency, has successfully run educational programmes and events for almost all of the main oncology pharmaceutical companies, from large stand-alone meetings to educational and scientific satellite symposia. This new partnership utilises the dissemination skills of ecancer with the logistical, marketing and communication expertise of Succinct, creating a powerful partnership to educate oncology healthcare professionals.

This collaboration offers pharmaceutical companies the opportunity to tap into the wealth of expertise provided by both organisations. It’s a ‘one-stop shop for excellent educational events’, offering KOL / speaker management, content development, logistical planning, event hosting, innovation, creativity and digital dissemination to the wider oncology community who are unable to attend.

Prof Gordon McVie, founder of ecancer comments, ”Busy medical professionals want the freedom and flexibility to participate in live educational events as well as watch online when and where they want; we are about providing extra value to an event through innovation and interaction, and giving it wider dissemination and more impact at no cost to the oncologist. We are excited to be able to extend our considerable activities to include live educational events and I can think of no better partner than Succinct to help us deliver these programmes for our pharma sponsors”.

Sean McGrath, Chairman of Succinct adds, ”Having a 20-year history of working in oncology medical communications, we have been an admirer of the ecancer brand, along with its scientific credibility and impressive dissemination abilities since its inception. We are delighted to be announcing this collaboration today – I am convinced that the partnership will be extremely effective and attractive to our pharmaceutical partners, as well as the healthcare professional oncology community”.
