ecancer is now listed in the Hinari portal, which was set up by the WHO to enable developing countries access to biomedical and health literature. The Hinari collection now includes 11,400 journals (in 30 different languages) which are available to health institutions in more than 100 countries, benefiting many thousands of health workers and researchers, and in turn, contributing to improve world health. This is another step on the road to fulfilling ecancer's mission of improving cancer communication and education worldwide with the goal of optimising patient care and outcomes.
The World Cancer Declaration recognises that to make major reductions in premature deaths, innovative education and training opportunities for healthcare workers in all disciplines of cancer control need to improve significantly.
ecancer plays a critical part in improving access to education for medical professionals.
Every day we help doctors, nurses, patients and their advocates to further their knowledge and improve the quality of care. Please make a donation to support our ongoing work.
