European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC-8): Spotlight on barriers to effective care and new data

29 Feb 2012

All breast cancer professionals strive to ensure that their patients receive the best possible treatment and high-quality care. Patient advocates share the same commitment - namely the conquering of breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.

Advocates work hard to ensure that patients get the right treatment at the right time, providing a blend of expertise, passion and dedication for patient care that has been shown to improve outcomes for the individual as well as overall cancer research, treatment and care.

EUROPA DONNA is providing sessions such as Survivorship, a teaching lecture on Lifestyle Factors and Breast Cancer and an overview of the Breast Health Day Campaign. These aim to increase awareness and motivate inclusion of patient issues and concerns by all stakeholders in breast cancer.

EBCC-8 provides a unique platform for all professionals with a common interest in breast cancer to discuss, debate and deliberate new data. This conference is a must-attend for all, so register before 20 March to avail of the late registration rate. Join the challenging and provocative discussions in Vienna on 21-24 March, 2012 to have your say.
