Do you know a researcher with outstanding credentials who deserves an award for his/her contribution to cancer research? If yes, then recognise the work of someone you respect: nominate now for the three new EACR-Pezcoller Foundation awards for cancer researchers.
The nomination deadline for these awards is 11 January 2021.
The next award will be presented at the EACR 2021 Virtual Congress to be held from 09-12 June 2021.
As an invited speaker the award winner will receive a free registration for the EACR Congress. There are three awards in total.
1. The Pezcoller Foundation-EACR Rising Star Award
Presented to a cancer researcher who has the potential to make significant contributions to future cancer research progress, who is within 1 – 4 years of having established their own laboratory in a European institution.
The award winner will receive a €5,000 honorarium.

2. The Pezcoller Foundation-EACR Translational Cancer Researcher Award
Celebrates academic excellence and achievements in the field of translational cancer research.
Presented annually to a researcher with no more than 15 years post-doctoral experience.
The award winner will receive a €10,000 honorarium.
They will also be invited to give a lecture in Trento, Italy, at a date to be agreed, for which they will receive accommodation and travel costs. Learn more about this award here.
3. The Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award
Celebrates the achievements of women working in cancer research.
Presented annually to a researcher who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in cancer research.
The award winner will receive a €10,000 honorarium.
They will also be invited to give a lecture in Trento, Italy, at a date to be agreed, for which they will receive accommodation and travel costs.
