The Latin American and Caribbean Society of Medical Oncology (SLACOM) is looking to honour oncology researchers in Latin America who have dedicated their professional careers to the advancement in the fight against cancer, contributing to a better knowledge of the disease and its regional characteristics or who has contributed to prevent, better treat or improve the lives of cancer patients, through the SLACOM Award 2019.
Nominations for this prestigious award are now open.
The winner will receive a commemorative trophy, it will be awarded in a place and date to be determined during 2019.
The awarding of the prize will be disseminated on the SLACOM website and included in its monthly Newsletter, together with a stipend of 2,000 USD.
