A new editorial has just been published setting out the ethos and aims of the Wales Cancer Research Centre.
Written by John D Chester, Jodie R Bond and Elisabeth A Batt of the Wales Cancer Research Centre, Cardiff University, the editorial explains why ordinary people should not just be the subjects of research, but be active participants. As Wales has a unique set of attributes which make it an ideal place for cancer research, there are lessons to be learned which can be applied to the wider world.
The editorial outlines the work which has already been done by the Wales Cancer Research Centre and explains its future plans and goals.

We are an independent charity and are not backed by a large company or society. We raise every penny ourselves to improve the standards of cancer care through education. You can help us continue our work to address inequalities in cancer care by making a donation.
Any donation, however small, contributes directly towards the costs of creating and sharing free oncology education.
Together we can get better outcomes for patients by tackling global inequalities in access to the results of cancer research.
Thank you for your support.
