This module focuses on the use of e-cigarettes for tobacco cessation, including; how they work, the different generations of e-cigarette, how effective they are and their safety. 

This e-learning course is comprised of 8 modules exploring how to deliver an effective cessation programme to your patients. The content was developed alongside experts in Tobacco Cessation from King's College London.

Target audience

This module is for health professionals/students looking to expand their knowledge in the field of tobacco addiction with a focus on tobacco dependence treatment.

Learning objectives

Participants will gain knowledge and understanding of:

  • The current evidence base of the efficacy and safety of electronic cigarettes in treating tobacco dependence.
  • Current legislation and regulation across the world.
