The Tobacco Epidemic: Part Two

This module focuses on the tobacco epidemic and the impacts of smoking on health and well being, including; the links between smoking and cancer, respiratory and oral diseases, diabetes and mental health issues.

This e-learning course is comprised of 8 modules exploring how to deliver an effective cessation programme to your patients. The content was developed alongside experts in Tobacco Cessation from King's College London.

Target audience

This module is for health professionals/students looking to expand their knowledge in the field of tobacco addiction with a focus on tobacco dependence treatment.

Learning objectives

Participants will gain knowledge and understanding of:

  • The consequences of tobacco use on health and well being.
