Prof Eric Bing - Southern Methodist University, Dallas, USA

Prof Eric Bing spoke to ecancer at the UICC World Cancer Congress in Kuala Lumpur about the implementation of virtual reality for surgical training in low and middle income countries.

The interview includes footage from the virtual surgical training sessions, and Prof Bing explains how the environment is designed to provide a very realistic representation.

He also explains how this will reduce costs and is easily accessible, portable and practical which will benefit locations which suffer poor access to training facilities and staff.
