Dr Jeremy Schraw - Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA

Dr Schraw presents at AACR 2018 about the increased risk of children with non-chromosomal birth defects developing one of a host of childhood cancers.

Based on data from 4 US states between 1992-2013, researchers identified links between a range of birth defects and an increased risk of specific cancers.

Dr Schraw spoke with ecancer about these findings here.
