Prof Sunil Krishnan - MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA

Prof Sunil Krishnan speaks to ecancer at the 2019 International Gastrointestinal, Liver and Uro-Oncology Conference (IGILUC) in Cairo about the use of chemoradiation for patients with pancreatic cancer in the pre-operative setting.

He describes the role and application of chemoradiation in this setting, along with the increased benefit among patients with different stages of pancreatic cancer.

For the future of this field, Prof Krishnan believes that the medical community are now aware and accept the benefits that this method can provide; which is becoming increasingly considered as a logical standard of care approach.
