Ms Dicey Scroggins - International Gynecologic Cancer Society, Austin, USA

Ms Dicey Scroggins speaks to ecancer at the 2019 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) meeting about the need for standardised and high-quality care in healthcare settings across the world.

Ms Scroggins believes that investment in infrastructure, education and advocacy are needed to address the issue of global healthcare inequity.

She also adds that these efforts in addressing the disparities seen in developing countries must be tailored - in terms of language and culture, in order for success to be achieved.
