Dr. Mauro Cives obtained his medical degree and specialization degree in Medical Oncology from the University of Bari, Italy. From 2013 to 2016 Dr. Cives worked as a Research Associate within the Neuroendocrine Program of the Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa FL, USA.
Currently, he is Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Human Oncology, University of Bari. Dr. Cives’ work focuses on the preclinical and clinical evaluation of innovative treatments for NETs. In 2017, Dr. Cives was awarded by ENETS for the project “CAR-T cells for GEP-NETs”.
