Alberto d'Onofrio is a Research Director at the International Prevention Research Institute. Previously, he was group-leader in "Systems Biomedicine" at the Department of Experimental Oncology at the IEO. After achieving an MSc in Control Engineering at Pisa University, and a PhD in Medical Computer Science at Rome “La Sapienza”, he moved to the IEO as a post-doc fellow of Prof Peter Boyle, and then Scientist in the Epidemiology Division. His research interests include mathematical modelling in the fields of both the basic science of cancer and of antitumor therapies.
