The UICC TNM Classification: Lip and Oral Cavity

This module focuses on the fundamental principles of cancer staging for tumours of the lip and oral cavity based on UICC's TNM classification system.

This course was developed through an exciting collaboration between ecancer and UICC (Union for International Cancer Control) for the purpose of educating and informing the global cancer community on the globally accepted classification of malignant tumours.

This module has been developed for oncologists interested in learning about the core principles of cancer staging.

Objetivos educativos

By the end of this module, you should be able to:

  • Know the general principles of the UICC TNM Classification of Malignant Tumours.
  • Understand the structure of the UICC TNM classification seventh edition for lip and oral cavity tumours.
  • Be able to apply the UICC TNM classification of lip and oral cavity to real cancer cases.
