The Vanessa Moss Prize: celebrating research into cancer health disparities
Dr Gary Lyman speaks to ecancer about the work of the COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium, an organisation setup to collect data on cancer patients who have been infected with COVID-19.
He explains that this multi-centre, international consortium aims to gather as much information about the cancer population that is infected along with their comorbidities, treatment and how they are being managed.
Dr Lyman states that currently there are close to 100 centres participating, many which are large comprehensive cancer centres.
Institutions can sign up to participate at the COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium website.
