Georgette Oni - Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK

Georgette Oni speaks to ecancer about a talk she presented at London Global Cancer Week 2025 on ways at which we can improve the communication of cancer research.

She explains that the talk looked into the best ways at which information from research projects and presentations can be disseminated from institutes into the wider community.

Georgette highlights that one issue seen in communities is that the information and the way it is delivered doesn't 'speak' to people. She explains that artificial intelligence is being used to help create avatars that look and sound like the community that you are trying to reach.
