Recognise presenting features of colon cancer, and how they relate to their tumour site.

Appreciate the common investigations used for the diagnosis of colon cancer.

Appreciate how colon cancer is staged.

Recognise presenting features and investigation findings of colon cancer presenting as an emergency.

Understand the rationale behind screening for colon cancer and how this is implemented.
