European Cancer Rehabilitation & Survivorship Symposium (ECRS) 2012
17 - 18 Sep 2012
Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center , Copenhagen, Denmark
The European Cancer Rehabilitation & Survivorship Symposium (ECRS) 2012 is intended to bring together European researchers and clinicians in the field of cancer rehabilitation.
Cancer survivors represent a new group of chronically ill in our ageing European populations and this brings challenging problems both in terms of prevalence of late effects and needs for rehabilitation. Thus, more exchange of experience, evidence based knowledge and ideas across the European borders are needed in order to further develop this challenging field.
This symposium is organized by the Scandinavian Journal Acta Oncologica.
ECRS 2012 will offer an opportunity to gain more insight into subjects including:
Cancer treatment in the next decades – late effects and implications for rehabilitation
Relation between late effects, supportive care, rehabilitation and palliation
Childhood cancer, late effects and rehabilitation
Comorbidity and ageing
Endocrine late effects and fertility issues
Health behavior
Integrating follow-up, late effects treatment and rehabilitation
