Immunotherapy has revolutionised cancer treatment in recent years. However, some tumour types still do not respond to it, and resistance remains a common challenge. Advances in cell-based therapies and a deeper understanding of tumour immunology have fuelled research in this field, leading to the development of numerous novel immune-based treatments.
In this exciting context, the EACR is pleased to launch its first virtual conference on Next Generation Immunotherapies. Attendees will explore cutting-edge developments in immunotherapy, ranging from basic research to clinical applications, with a particular focus on innovative therapeutic strategies. The program will include invited talks from leading scientists in areas such as novel NK, T and myeloid cell therapies, and new combinatorial immune checkpoint blockade strategies. It will also include presentations selected from submitted abstracts and offer plenty of time for scientific discussion.
