Special Network on Cancer, Conflict and Ukraine
Following discussions with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Commission, the ECO Board and ASCO established a Special Network on the Impact of the War in Ukraine on Cancer soon after the war started, co-chaired by the ECO President Andreas Charalambous, ASCO President-Elect Eric Winer and Richard Sullivan, the Special Network Liaison with the WHO Emergency Committee.
To date, the Special Network includes representatives of over 300 organisations from around the world.

With the help of this Special Network, which is open to you and your organisations to join, we set up onco-help.org (or onko-help.org) aiming to provide multilingual resources signposting Ukrainian cancer patients and healthcare professionals to oncology and healthcare information available in different European countries receiving Ukrainian refugee cancer patients.
Many oncology medical and patient organisations across Europe are providing support to Ukrainian cancer patients fleeing Ukraine and seeking to start or continue treatment in another European country.
New links and information can be included by emailing them to ukraine@europeancancer.org. The more diverse content we receive, the more country categories and sections can be included.
