Science of Global Prostate Cancer Disparities

Building on the successes of the previous biennial conferences, the theme for the 5th Biennial conference is: “Roots of Prostate Cancer Disparities: Genetics x Environmental Roots in Men of African Ancestry”.
For the first time, the conference will be held in Africa and will focus on exploring the environmental, lifestyle, and genetic risk factors underlying CaP etiology in Black men.
One of the key products of the conference is data pooling and integration to provide a global Big data on clinical, environmental and genetics risk factors for CaP research in men of African ancestry.
As with past conferences, the SGCaPD conference will:

Provide opportunities for mutual learning, knowledge transfer, and collaborations among prostate cancer scientists, clinicians, survivors, and advocates.

Promote trans-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary prostate cancer research globally;

Facilitate networking among individuals involved in all aspects of prostate cancer control, education, and research in Black men.

Maintain our global community of practice to address common challenges in prostate cancer, including prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Contribute to a global impact against prostate cancer through research training and education programs for low-resource countries.
