Prof John Staffurth - Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK

Prof Staffurth speaks at the Highlighting Welsh Cancer Research Conference about the power of radiotherapy in cancer care.

Having summed the curative potential of radiotherapy alone, he considers the potential outcomes of adjuvant therapies including immunotherapeutics and targeted molecules.

Prof Staffurth highlights the synergistic mechanisms of action that may allow for complementary therapies to achieve high clinical outcomes with low toxic events, and introduces clinical trials of combined therapy in the UK.
