Dr Botero speaks with ecancertv at the ecancer Colombian Cancer Congress about developments in radiotherapy for the treatment of cervical cancer.

She describes how, especially in locally advanced disease, the lower toxicity profile and hypo-fractionation of radiotherapy offers an advantage over longer systemic treatments.

Dr Botero describes the significant extensions in patient survival as encouraging further research, and the utility of local conferences in disseminating these advances.
