Dr Jimmie Holland talks to ecancer at the 2013 AORTIC meeting in Durban, South Africa about the psychosocial distress associated with a cancer diagnosis.

Dr Holland discusses that the word “distress” covers several psychosocial issues that a cancer diagnosis raises, which are universal and cross cultures, ranging from physical symptoms of pain, fatigue, treatment side effects to social and spiritual distress.
