Dr Matthew Maddocks – University of Nottingham, UK

Dr Matthew Maddocks discusses the dangers of insufficient exercise in patients with advanced cancer. Various exercise programmes are being offered to patients both alongside and after chemotherapy. Dr Maddocks outlines the difficulties faced motivating some patients, the way that this can be addressed and considers the potential for the programme to be offered on a national scale as part of a standard multidiscipline approach to cancer care.
