Prof Christopher Marshall speaks to ecancer at the 2019 Cancer Research At Bath conference about PET scanning and the GW4 consortium.

He outlines PET scanning and some of the advantages it has over CT and MRI scanning.

However, it historically has had logistical challenges including the production of certain probes.

Prof Marshall's centre in Cardiff has managed to improve this process tenfold with one particular agent, and this allows many centres around the UK to use their PET scanning facilities more regularly.
