Prof Wu Jiong speaks to ecancer at BGICC 2019 in Cairo about the findings of a survey looking at surgical options in breast cancer across 110 hospitals in China.

He explains that the survey covered around 85,000 cases and that it was seen that the rate of breast conserving surgery was higher in locations with a higher rate of GDP per capita.

Prof Jiong states that they also looked breast reconstruction rate for patients post mastectomy with a rate of 10.6% found in the series.
