Dra Cynthia Villareal-Garzia - Monterrey Institute of Technology, Monterrey, Mexico

Dr Cynthia Villareal-Garzia spoke to ecancer at the UICC World Cancer Congress in Kuala Lumpur about the higher rate of breast cancer in women in Latin America.

She describes how this could be down to the delay in diagnosis because of the lack of access to healthcare.

Dr Villareal-Garzia discusses her two talks from the congress, one of which is about accelerating care to patients, which she believes is currently more of an issue than the treatment.
