Prof Amit Bahl, Prof Nicolas Mottet, Prof Jean-Pierre Droz and Henriette Breunis

Prof Amit Bahl, Prof Nicolas Mottet, Prof Jean-Pierre Droz and Henriette Breunis meet in Amsterdam at the International Society of Geriatric Oncology 2018 conference for an educational prostate cancer discussion.

Their talk covers highlights from the SIOG session "Improving the management of senior adults with prostate cancer".

Prof Bahl chairs the discussion opening by asking Prof Mottet about the key highlights from the SIOG meeting including the updated SIOG guidelines for the management of senior adults with prostate cancer.

He then asks Prof Droz about the assessment of elderly patients regarding their fitness in a more practical manner.

The discussion then turns to Henriette Breunis, a research coordinator, who can give a fresh perspective on the organisation and design of studies for elderly patients.

The panel move on to the important next steps to take in this realm, and what we can expect from the future.

This service has been kindly supported by an unrestricted grant from Janssen Oncology.
