Prof Jean-François Morère - Hôpital Paul Brousse, Villejuif, France

Prof Jean-François Morère speaks to ecancer at the ESMO 2018 congress in Munich, about a study of French citizens to observe who was more likely to participate in lung cancer screening.

By comparison to US and EU wide studies, he outlines the behaviours and demographics of over 3000 participants, 15% of whom had participated in lung screening.

He notes the association between age, smoking history and education, and considers how these findings could be incorporated into a national screening campaign to increase awareness and participation.
