Dr Anna Middleton - Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK

Anna Middleton talks to ecancer at EAPM 2017 in Belfast.

She discusses the issues and social attitudes towards genomic data sharing.

On the whole, people are suspicious about how their data would be used, and would want to know how it would benefit them.

Overall, people are interested and Dr Middleton suggests that we can improve the amount of useful data sharing by increasing public engagement with health science.
