Prof Christian Ottensmeier - Southampton Royal Hospital, UK

Prof Ottensmeier speaks with ecancer at the ACP immunotherapy workshop about matching patients to treatments with predictive models of their likely response.

He describes assessments of changing cellular expression and broader microbiota to establish how likely treatments are to deliver tolerable, effective relief of cancer burden.

Prof Ottensmeier notes immune cell count and tumour penetration as predictive markers of immunotherapy response, with tumour resident memory T cells showing particular promise.
