Research course on circulating tumor cells (CTC) at the Karolinska Institute

Cancer is one of the Karolinska Institute’s (KI) largest and most competitive research areas. KI’s cancer research is ranked number 12 in the world and number one outside the USA, in bibliometric rankings in recent years.

The KI cancer research network, KICancer, initiates, coordinates and supervises education and training in cancer research at all advanced levels of the higher education system, including through its PhD-training program in tumour biology and oncology (FoTO).

The KI research course "Circulating Tumor Cells" will be given March 23 to 27 by 2015. Applications are invited between 2014-10-15 and 2014-11-17 through the KI application portal for doctoral level courses organised by the tumour biology - oncology program (click here).

We can offer up to 50% of places for PhD students and postdocs outside the KI, including international applicants.
