Prof Jatin Shah - Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA

Prof Shah speaks with ecancertv at the IFHNOS 2016 session in Moscow about the global increase in thyroid cancer diagnosis.

He describes how readily available, highly specific scanning systems might be accountable for this rise, with benign microsarcomas accounting for a significant portion of cancers not requiring surgical intervention.
