Dr Nadeem Abu Rustum talks to ecancer at the 2013 ESGO meeting in Liverpool about endometrial cancer and sentinel node mapping.

Dr Abu Rustum discusses the difficulty in changing the standard of surgical practice in endometrial cancer and a new approach for primary surgery where the pathologist is involved in looking directly at the lymph nodes.

This method may add value by lowering false negative rates through a newly developed algorithm and a system called ‘Pathologic Ultra Staging’.
