Dr Neal Copeland - Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Singapore
Dr Neal Copeland discusses his research modelling cancer genomes in mice to discover new pathways for targeted drug development. The modelling took place by taking transposons, a mobile piece of DNA that can cause cancer growth when it mutates, and tracking them as they mark the gene they mutate. These markers could become targets in human cancer.
