Dr Donald Berry – University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas

In regards to his talk at the WIN Symposium, Dr Berry talks about how clinical trials must be built in order to accommodate what is known about the heterogeneity of cancer and which patients will benefit from what drugs. One of the themes of the symposium was the use of multiple drug therapies and the clinical trials that would develop with this in mind. Dr Berry discusses the need for diversity in research, the development of communication between trials in different countries and how it will further research and development.
