Dr Lillian Siu – Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada
Dr Siu talks about targeted sequencing and matching to specific drug therapies, pilot and longer term projects and how this will lead to the ability to compare fresh biopsies to archived result in order to find a change in mutation. The mutations are identified by in order to find ‘drugable’ mutations. Larger projects discussed include genomic sequencing of a larger number of patients with specific types of cancer to chart them gnomically.
